LOUD.
I love to mix comfort with cute. Nowadays, active wear and lounge wear are not only meant for exercise or chilling at home. There are so many variations. I cannot tell you how comfortable this set is, while still looking cute. That's how I like it best.

Navy Stripes
I would like to start this post by saying kudos to me! While taking this pics, it was freezing y'all. And I think my face held up nicely, don't you think? While writing this, there's actually a thick layer of snow outside... Come on man, did the weather forget it's March already? I need to see signs of spring, beautiful daffodils coming out, baby animals and all that type of stuff. Not this. *Rant over*
Anyhoo, for some reason, I am very much drawn to any piece of clothing with stripes or polkadots, so be prepared to see that more often in the coming weeks/months. This sort of pintstripe, navy blue look is something I love to wear on rotation, you can never go wrong with stripes in my opinion. The top is actually a longer button up shirt dress type of thing, but I wanted to wear it with the pants and decided to make it an off-shoulder look, because once again, anything off-shoulder is hawwwt. Both pieces would like great seperately as well.
Keep me in your prayers while I struggle to shoot some more looks in this winter cold!

Winter Leopard
I don't think I will ever grow tired of leopard print. It is here to stay, leopard print is a neutral in my book. When I saw this skirt, I knew it would be cute to pair with some over the knee boots for colder weather. In summer they would look cute with some mules or sandals. I'm sure this one will be a nice staple in my closet. An accessory I keep forgetting about, is a hat. I only wear one on very rarely occassions, and everytime I wear one I promise myself to not forget to wear one more often. On the other hand, since being natural with my hair for over a year now, I need to try if it looks just as nice with my curly hair (and consider if I mind messing up my "do").

Naughty be Nature
Ok, no lie. Lately, and especially today, the weather has been all over the place. It made it very hard for me to get new outfit pics taken and today, I literally opened my front door to step outside and was greeted with rain, only to have the sun shine in my face 15 minutes later, and then to be greeted by a hailstorm 30 minutes after that (luckily I took the pics in between storms :)). The sky went from grey to blue, over and over again. Which brings me to my next point: what the f&(* are you supposed to wear with nature acting up like this? I'll keep it real with you: no freaking clue. All I know, is that it needed to wear this lippie to brighten up my day, lol. It just happened to be that this vest was an excellent match :)
Style note: This vest is from H&M's teen line Divided. I got the L and it fits me perfectly, it's slightly oversized even (when wearing it open). Shows that it pays off to step out of your comfort zone and that the label in a piece of clothing says nothing ;)
Have a great week,
xoxo

Teal goodness
I actually wore this dress for my birthday dinner last Friday. I'm a sucker for sweetheart necklines, flowy skirts, embellishments, sheer AND lace so this dress was the answer to EVERYTHING!
I had a great day, apart from my allergies (hay fever) acting up. It was really hot that day and the food was great. If you follow me on snapchat, you probably have seen a small impression of the restaurant :)
Anyhoo, since I am not feeling my grade A self, I'm keeping it short. Enjoy your day loves!

Simply Red
I think I need to clean up my act and change my opinion on the color red. Apart from red lippies, which I absolutely love, I'm actually not that fond of red. I think clothing wise, it's the least common color in my closet. Apart from this fabulous skirt and a pair of skinnies there's nothing red here. And then this coat came along... I love it! I know it's not very groundbreaking, but I love pairing red with the old, classic black and white combination. It just gives it that extra va-va-voom. This dress is also a perfect fit, I absolute love skater dresses. It gives the much wanted effect when you twirl :)

Relaxed chic
One item I do love to wear, but is very seldom seen on my blog: the hat. I don't know why but for some reason I always forget I have them. And they can do so much for an outfit! It can add instant class, or an instant "feel" to the outfit (e.g.: relaxed mood, boho look, hipster). But when I saw my new favorite boots, I immediately remembered this hat to pair it with. The boots have been one of my go to shoes these days, they're comfortable, cute and warm (and in wide width!).
As for the rest of the outfit, Imma let you in on a secret: if you would try to see past the hat, belt and shoes, it would be my typical perfect outfit for around the house or to relax in. Comfy leggings, a long warm vest... But adding a belt, boots and a hat (told ya!) I give you: "Relaxed Chic!" ^_^
The easiest way everrrr to upgrade your look. Am I the only one who does this? How do you upgrade a relaxed look?
