Marks & Spencer returns to the Netherlands!

Top photo via official press release, all other photos taken by me.
I had the honor of being invited to Marks & Spencer's special preview event yesterday. This afternoon, 20 February 2014,
12.00 sharp, the new flagship store will be officially opened for the public by Marks & Spencer CEO Marc Bolland,
together with the British ambassador, Sir Geoffrey Adams (sounds kinda fancy eh?).

After "leaving" the Netherlands in 2001 they returned in April 2013 with an online store and several food markets and are
now back with their own flagshipstore. Plans are to open a second store in Amsterdam in 2016.

The new store, located in "De Markies" building, contains three storees filled with clothes, shoes, accessories, lingerie,
a Food Hall AND the M&S Café. Read on for more pictures!

With over 10.000 fashionable clothing items, they're off to a great start. I've seen some really cute designs and the best part,
almost everything in the collection goes up to a UK size 22 (US18). Could be extended more of course, but at least it's something
for part of the curvy community. I do hope that they will extend their bra sizes as well, since I saw a lot of cute ones, but most of it up until DD.
